This week, our taxpayer dollars are in danger of being wasted on more Pentagon spending.

Congress is debating a Continuing Resolution to keep the federal government running through this year. Ignoring desperate needs here at home, the Republican leadership is pushing for deep cuts in domestic spending. Meanwhile, they're allowing for an $8 billion increase in Pentagon spending.

How much more does the Pentagon need?  A number of amendments cutting Pentagon bloat by our allies Rep. Polis (D-CO), Rep. Stark (D-CA) and Rep. Jones (R-NC) could be voted on as early as this afternoon and perhaps as late as Thursday.

Call your Congress member today and tell them to support amendments that reduce the Pentagon budget.
