This debate comes on the eve of a solemn anniversary. Saturday, March 19th marks 8 years since the U.S. invasion of Iraq in 2003. October will mark our tenth year occupying Afghanistan. At a time when the US is sinking deeper and deeper into crisis, we are continuing to throw our tax dollars away on military occupations abroad.

This weekend, Peace Action members from around the country will mark the anniversary by delivering our message to the halls of Congress as part of our Spring Lobby Weekend. Our message to each Representative will be all the more powerful if preceded by a phone call from you!
