Dear Supporter,

Evacuation Route PilgrimPilgrim Watch recently held a Q&A session on protecting the South Shore from Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station (see my response to it below via the DuxburyClipper article). There is dire need for citizens to get involved in order to put public pressure on our local and state reps.

People want to know what specific actions they can take to help. We are therefore planning a strategy meeting for Tuesday, October 25th at 7:30pm to get folks involved in specific tasks. Claire Miller, organizer from Toxics Action Center, will be running the strategy meeting, and we will focus on getting constituents to contact the Attorney General and encourage her to supplement her requests for a hearing on Pilgrim's license renewal as more lessons learned from Fukushima become evident.

Please RSVP to me (annazoebaker@yahoo.com) and let me know if you will be able to participate. (We need all the help we can get.)

Strategy Meeting
Tuesday, October 25th, 7:30pm
457 Washington Street, Duxbury (Duxbury Maritime School)
2nd Floor
Building is on the water, behind French Memories Bakery

See article from this week's Duxbury clipper here, but NOTE that the email address for people to contact me at the bottom (which is critical!) is wrong! It should be annazoebaker@yahoo.com.
