Too Many Victims... ...Lost to Gun Violence National Candle Light Vigil - January 8th This event commemorates the one-year anniversary of the tragic shooting of U.S. Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords in Tucson, Arizona. Events will be held all across the country, coordinated by the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence, and in Illinois by the Illinois Council Against Handgun Violence. Elder King is a graduate of Spelman College with a B.A. in Psychology and a Masters of Divinity and Doctorate of Law from Emory University.
