Save Our Trail Ribbon Cutting
Tuesday, August 15, at 6:30 PM
Where: Linden Lane at Stephen Sitter Ave near the Gate that is the entrance to the Walter Reed Army Medical Center Annex.
This trail will be a vital connector between Sligo Creek trail system and Rock Creek Park. Help advocate for the Army to give their park land including Ireland Drive trail to the County. Representatives from the Army, the Parks department and Congressman Van Hollen's office will be there. If we can promise a crowd it is more likely to get the press. There is no substitute for your presence! (bring bikes, baby carriages, children on bikes.)
