The starting area of the ride is on South 28th Street in Shirlington. map>>
Registration/Check-in opens at 7:00 am. The Community Ride (23 miles) begins at 8:00 am. The Family Ride (7 miles) begins at 8:30 am.
Please note that some sections of the ride will be on streets open to traffic. Riders must obey all traffic laws. Other sections of the ride will be on trails that are open to the public. Please ride single file and signal when passing. For more bike safety tips from WABA click here.
Day of Event Registration
If you have friends or family that might want to join you, day of event registration will be availabe in the start area. The fees on the day of the ride are $20 per adult and $40 per family. Children 13 and under are free!
Kids' Bike Safety Rodeo
Children will love this fun set of courses designed to improve their bike-handling skills. The Rodeo will take place from 10 am to noon at the starting area. It's free and open to all kids up to 12.

Lunch After the Ride
After the Ride, enjoy a discounted lunch at the Village at Shirlington. Valet park your bike and present your rider bib (registration number) at any of the following merchants for a discount on lunch and services. Participating merchants include: Bear Rock Cafe, Bonsai Grill, The Bungalow, Capital City Brewing Company, Extra Virgin Modern Italian Cuisine, Johnny Rockets, Robeks Fruit Smoothies and Healthy Eats, Subway, T.H.A.I. in Shirlington and The UPS Store.
Free Bike Valet
After the Ride check your bike safely with us as you enjoy Shirlington's wonderful variety of restaurants and specialty shops! The valet closes at 2pm.
