Elizabeth A. Sackler Center for Feminist Art at the Brooklyn Museum

What:
Marking the second anniversary of the Elizabeth A. Sackler Center for Feminist Art, Laura Flanders, host of GRITtv, moderates an audience speak-out on women's goals for the 21st century. C. Nicole Mason, Executive Director of Women of Color Policy Network at NYU's Wagner School, gives the keynote address: "Now is the Time -- Activating Women Leaders for a Collective Change."  Panelists include Ana L. Oliveira, President & CEO of The New York Women's Foundation, and Ai-jen Poo, Lead Organizer and Founder of Domestic Workers United (DWU). This is an audience participation driven event. We invite you to share your thoughts on the issues that most impact women and girls.  

Performance by award-winning musical artist Toni Blackman.

Unfinished Business -- a think-tank identifying ways of mobilizing external networks to raise public awareness about intergenerational communications, issues of race/class/gender, and the effects of current events.

•    Entrance to the Museum and speak-out FREE for you and a friend with a print-out of this invitation!!!  

•    We encourage you to bring a friend a friend or two -- one older, one younger -- to further create an environment that is truly intergenerational!
